Scouts & Guides
Geethaanjali students have the opportunity to become members of Bharat Scouts and Guides. Younger pupils are introduced to this tradition as Cubs and Bulbuls. As a part of this program, students participate in inter-school competitions and day camps that offer a wide range of activities such as tent-making, vegetable carving, art from waste, first aid, march past and dance.
This year students also participated in Cubs and Bulbuls/Scouts and Guides two days camp and various competitions which were aimed at ensuring their physical and mental fitness, creating responsible citizen by inculcating values, to develop the spirit of brotherhood and respect towards elders.
The purpose of the Program is to contribute to the development of young people in accomplishing their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual as individuals, as responsible citizens of our country and as members of the local, national and international communities.
The Promise for the Scout/Guide is:
"On my honour, I promise that,
I will do my best to do my duty,
to God and my country,
to help other people and to obey the Scout/Guide Law"
